For many years, Lorraine and Karen produced and told at the Celtic festival, Hooley on the Hudson, in Kingston, NY. They now have a "home" in Kingston at A.S.K. (Arts Society of Kingston). They say, "We hope folks will come down our way to hear us in the future."

They bring their Celtic heritage and enthusiasm to their performances where they always enthrall their listeners. Join us for the most delightful of evenings.

Story Slam at Taste Budds Café
The Story Slam at Taste Budds Café in Red Hook is a monthly event featuring writers, poets and storytellers from the Hudson Valley and beyond. Each month a pre-selected line up of writers and storytellers engages their audience with original works of fiction, creative non-fiction, essay and poetry.

Taking place from 7-9 p.m. on the third Friday of each month, the Story Slam at Taste Budds Café celebrates the complementary traditions of spoken and written word in a family-friendly environment.
