THE CITY OF KINGSTON
AND BESTOW UPON HER THE TITLE of Storyteller Laureate in perpetuity for the City of Kingston.
Karen Pillsworth says:
As Storyteller Laureate, it is my honor to serve the people of Kingston by sharing my stories at events throughout the city and helping raise funds for various organizations. I have been privileged to work with the Forsyth Nature Center, the Rondout Lighthouse, and the Camp for Homeless Pre-Schoolers to raise awareness by finding the right stories for each group. One of my favorite moments as laureate is to hear a child or grown-up say, “Hey, that’s Karen. She’s our storyteller.”
